The goal of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Program is to fund capital projects that encourage and improve bicycling and walking conditions in San Mateo County. Projects in the Pedestrian and Bicycle Program should contribute to the overall goals of the Measure A Program to reduce commute corridor congestion, make regional connections, enhance safety and meet local mobility needs. Eligible projects include paths, trails, and bridges over roads and highways that encourage walking and bicycling

Workshop
The TA will be holding a public workshop on December 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. The workshop will be held at 1250 San Carlos Ave., San Carlos, CA 94070. During the workshop, TA staff will provide an overview of the Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Program criteria, which include the Call for Project guidelines and application process.
