Transportation Authority to Hold Shuttle Technical Assistance Workshop

 

In anticipation of the upcoming San Mateo County Shuttle Program Call for Projects the San Mateo County Transportation Authority, in coordination with the City County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG), SamTrans and Commute.Org, will be hosting a Shuttle Technical Assistance Workshop.

This workshop will provide an overview of shuttle best practices with respect to the planning and administration of shuttles so potential shuttle applicants can submit more cost effective and productive shuttle proposals.

The goal of the San Mateo County Shuttle Program is to fund operating projects that meet local mobility needs and/or provide access to regional transit services in San Mateo County. Projects in the San Mateo County Shuttle Program should contribute to the overall goals of the Measure A Program to reduce commute corridor congestion, make regional connections, enhance safety and meet local mobility needs.
