The following is a list of the city of
East Palo Alto projects (completed
and in progress) funded by the current Measure A:
- Annual Street Resurfacing: Various streets were resurfaced with new
asphalt paving and other pavement treatments. Widening, manhole and valve
replacement and striping was done on designated streets. This program is in place on
a continuing basis.
- Citywide Street Inventory: Street lights, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and
other related public amenities were inventoried.
- Speed Bump Installation: As requested by the citizens, speed bumps were
installed and processed through the speed bump approval process. Speed bumps,
requested by the citizens and approved by the council, are installed on a continuing
basis.
- Signal Construction/Upgrade: Traffic signal improvements are ongoing.
- Street Reconstruction Projects: Deteriorated streets have been removed
and reconstructed. These projects are ongoing.
