This project is for the development of the preliminary
project studies for the Broadway interchange. This project will modify the
existing interchange to relieve traffic congestion and improve safety. The
project scope is anticipated to include detailed design and construction at a
later date as the Board authorizes future budget.
The consultant, Rajappan & Meyer, finalized the traffic studies and is preparing the final Project Study Report for submittal to Caltrans for approval. An agreement has been made with Caltrans to do the constructability review meeting concurrently with the final review of the PSR. Caltrans requires a constructability review meeting before approval of the PSR. Future activities include continuing with the preparation of the final Project Study Report and conducting a constructability review meeting. |
