Brittan Avenue

This project is to provide new southbound ramps on Route 101 at Brittan Avenue.  This improvement will allow better traffic circulation between Route 101 and central San Carlos and alleviate congestion at two of the adjacent interchanges: Holly Street and Whipple Avenue.

Work on this project includes:

  • An extension of an existing collector-distributor road, adjacent to the freeway, from the Holly Street interchange to Brittan Avenue
  •  The construction of on and off-ramps along southbound Route 101 at Brittan Avenue
  • An additional auxiliary lane from Brittan avenue to Whipple Avenue.

This project is complete.

There is a discrepancy between the TA expended and the TA budget.

Future activities include reviewing accounting records and making adjustments if needed and the project close out.
