This project is for the construction of the northbound and
southbound auxiliary lanes within the limits of Holly Street in San Carlos and
Whipple Avenue in Redwood City. These improvements will help to alleviate
traffic congestion along the 101 Corridor.
Mark Thomas & Co. is working on the final design package. Comments from Caltrans are being addressed. Work is continuing on the development of the wetland mitigation plan and on obtaining the required permits. Right of way issues, utility conflicts, wetland mitigation need to be resolved and permits need to be obtained. The consultant is working on the submittal of final plans to Caltrans and responding to comments from the previous submittal. The permit applications will be prepared, utility notices prepared, right of way easements obtained, and the development and study of the mitigation site at Foster City will continue. |
