East Third Ave. to Hwy. 92

This project is for the construction of auxiliary lanes, shoulders and new soundwalls in the northbound and southbound direction between SR92 and 3rd avenue on Route 101 in San Mateo. These improvements are expected to reduce congestion, improve traffic operation and reduce impact of freeway noise to adjacent residential neighborhoods. The project will also provide for a landscaping and irrigation contract. This project is substantially complete. The project includes a three-year plant establishment period, which is on going. Future activities include continuation of the three year plant establishment period, which will be completed in 2004.
