Phase III-A
This project is for the hookramps of the Oyster
Point Interchange project on Route 101. This was approved by the TA
Board by authorization No. 1999-31. The hookramps will provide a
southbound off-on connection to Route 101 from Bayshore Blvd. which
connects Brisbane and South San Francisco. The
funding breakdown is as follows:

The City of South San Francisco will obtain a loan
from Measure A funds (item e) that is to be repaid with revenues from the
development fees.
The project is broken into 2 contracts.
Contract 1 is utilities & rough grading. Contract 2 is the
roadway work.
Contract 1 (utilities & rough grading) - began
fill replacement, storm drainage and water line fabrication.
Contract 2 - began the 95% design.
Future Activities: Contract 1 - Continue
construction of the joint trench and fill replacement, begin installation
of 16", 48" & 60" Water lines and complete retaining
wall No. 4
Phase III-B
This project is for the funding of a loan, of
Measure A funds, to South San Francisco in connection with the Oyster
Point Interchange Project phase III - A. Project #719.
The City and the SMCTA have entered into a loan
agreement.
This money will be repaid to the SMCTA by the City
of South San Francisco so that the total project costs will have a net of
$0. The loan repayment will be required by 2008.
Future activities include repayment of the loan by
2008.
