This project is for the design and construction of various
station access and grade crossing improvements on West Railroad Avenue, in the
vicinity of the San Mateo downtown transit station, from San Mateo Creek to
Tilton Avenue.
A funding agreement has been executed with the City of San Mateo. The pedestrian/bike bridge is complete. The City of San Mateo is working on the design of the railroad safety fencing and the road to bridge tie in. Staff is awaiting action by the City of San Mateo. The City of San Mateo is continuing with the design of the road to the bridge tie in and the railroad safety fencing. |
