The San Mateo County Transportation Authority
The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) plans, funds, and delivers transportation programs and projects throughout San Mateo County.
The TA manages the voter-approved Measure A and Measure W sales taxes that generate revenue to help improve transit and relieve congestion. The TA is an independent agency and is governed by an appointed board of seven directors, who are elected officials, representing the county, cities and the San Mateo County Transit District.

The Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the month at 5:00 p.m. unless noted otherwise. Meetings will be conducted in a hybrid format (virtually and in-person).
Public Comments: Public comments may be emailed to publiccomment@SMCTA.com or mailed to 166 N Rollins Rd., Millbrae, CA 94030, which will be compiled and posted weekly on Friday (holidays excluded). To be included in the Board's weekly correspondence reading file, it must be received by 2:00 PM the day before. For the week of the Board meeting, it must be received by 2:00 PM the day before the Board meeting. All public comments and correspondence, including personal information (i.e. names and email addresses), shall become disclosable public records.
