Public Information Meeting Regarding State Route 1/Calera Parkway Project June 22

The San Mateo County Transportation Authority and the City of Pacifica, in partnership with the California Department of Transportation, will hold an informational meeting on the proposed State Route 1/Calera Parkway Project at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 22 in the Pacifica City Council Chambers, 2212 Beach Blvd.

The purpose of the proposed project is to reduce congestion on the segment of State Route 1/Calera Parkway in the City of Pacifica. The segment extends approximately 2,300 feet north of Reina De Mar Avenue to approximately 1,500 feet south of Fassler and Rockaway Beach avenues.

The first hour of the meeting will be an open house, which will give people the opportunity to view exhibits and talk to the project team. An informational meeting will follow which will include presentations on the history of the project, the purpose and need for the project, the environmental constraints and concerns, the design concepts that have been reviewed and an overview of the environmental process and schedule. This will be followed by a question and answer period.
