Bike to Wherever Days continues across the Bay Area starting tomorrow, Thursday, May 15, and runs through Saturday, May 17 — encouraging people to ride bikes for transportation, fun, and environmental benefit.
As part of this regional celebration, the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) is hosting two Energizer Stations that reward and support cyclists who combine biking with public transit:
- Thursday, May 15 — Hillsdale Caltrain Station, San Mateo
7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. - Friday, May 16 — Millbrae Transit Center, Millbrae (partnering with SamTrans)
7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Riders who register and stop by either location can enjoy:
- Complimentary snacks and beverages
- Swag giveaways
- Limited-edition Bike to Wherever Days musette bike bags (while supplies last)
- Prize drawings courtesy of local bike shops
The TA plays a vital role in advancing multimodal transportation across San Mateo County by funding infrastructure projects such as bike lanes, multi-use pathways, and station access improvements. These investments support a more connected and sustainable mobility network that integrates walking, biking, and transit.
