The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) is currently gathering feedback on how to reduce congestion and improve mobility along the Highway 101 corridor, the first step in its 101 Corridor Connect project.  

The San Mateo County Transportation Authority Board of Directors authorized the receipt of a Caltrans grant for sustainable transportation planning at its October meeting.  The money will help fund the development of Active 101, a plan designed to improve crossings and intersections for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders within a quarter mile of Highway 101. 

The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) is putting the call out to local governments for its latest competitive grant program aimed at improving traffic flow and safety on the county’s most critical commute corridors. 

The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) Board of Directors approved funding for the Peninsula Shuttle Program Call for Projects (CFP) at its June meeting. The funding for this CFP is intended to start new local transportation services, or continue services previously funded by the Peninsula Shuttle Program. Shuttles funded through this program must be free and open to the general public and must provide first-/last-mile connections to regional transit options like BART, Caltrain, WETA, or SamTrans bus services.
